Adventure Earth

A mass of gold ochre and olive stands in the middle like a mountain, open at the top into cream white and sunk into rust brown below. Fine lines are scratched into it, and white threads run down its left flank as far as the almost-black bar at the edge of the picture, its surface drawn off in horizontal grooves.
