The Way Is the Goal

Two thirds of the picture is empty cream-yellow ground. A pale track runs back into it from below, a dark hooded form stands at the end of the track on a horizontal line, and from there a thin charcoal stroke carries on to the top edge. The way is drawn; the goal is the only painted mass in the picture.
