A broad black line draws a curved form clean across the picture in a single stroke and leaves it not quite closed at the bottom. Grey-blue and white stand above it, and below a strong red band with the paint running down out of it in thin threads. Drawn, painted and allowed to run — three ways of treating the same surface.
