On a cream-white ground that looks plastered, a strong red field lies across the upper half — pushed rather than painted. Below it stands a dark grey block with pale threads running down out of it. Nothing else happens, and that is the work. Her sale photograph of this one survives too, sticker and all, and it is where the size and the price come from.
