A deep blue mass stands at the upper right, with cream-white blocks beneath it out of which an ochre band runs straight down. The ground is pale blue and grey, with turquoise dabs and a texture scratched into the wet paint. The green-painted edge of the canvas shows along the top — the painting carries on around it.
